Hi,

Does anyone know how to adjust or calibrate the depth sounder in a 2003 response lxi.

What brand? Lowrance?

I know that if you try to read depth while the boat is out of the water you'll get a really wacky reading.

if its the standard standalone like pete showed, you rip out the transducer and the guage, and send it in (and its some ridiculus fee). I found it was cheaper to buy a new one.

Or are you trying to change from English to metric? Or adjust the alarm, etc? Do you have an owner's manual anywhere? IIRC, you toggle to the depth function, then hold the down arrow to enter adjustments.
