Wakeboarding at 3700 RPM with monsoon 350 HP and acme 1235

Hi crew, I have my new vlx 2009 with a monsoon 350 and acme 1235 upgrade. The boat has a formidable hole shot.

The fact is that I m wakeboarding with all the ballast, the power wedge down, two extra fat sacs (aprox 800 Kg both) and 3 or 4 people.

We ride at 37 KM per hour so the RPM gauge shows between 3500 and 3800 RPM. On my old boat we wakeboard at 3200 (SAN with excalibur 330hp)

Someone knows if thats a problem for my boat???

That RPM range would hurt my engine ????

You riders in wich RPM range use your boat?

I ve heard that some riders use their owns hamerhead 383 at 3900 RPM.

Please help

No problem, that's expected with that much of a load in a boat. The motor is built to run high RPM so i wouldn't worry about it, if anything every single engine should get a good wide open throttle pass for 30-60secs to burn the engine out clean. Fuel quality is going down hill so fast we've seen a lot of spark plugs fowling faster.

The monsoon is Indmar's back bone work horse, with that prop combo you've got a great set up for what you are doing with it.

Have fun with the boat! It's dumping snow here in Seattle and boating season is 3-5 months away!
