hi everyone at the crew

could anyone give me any tips for getting the best surf wake out of my vtx with the cut dimond hull and only the 3 ballast tanks

Yep!! Had one. The cut diamond is actually better than the wake hull. Full middle tank, Full side tank, wedge in the highest down position, spotters on the hatch surf side and about 10-12 mph. It will be huge. You will be amazed!! I surf now more that ever and I wish I had kept the Cut Diamond hull..

Most would recommend a Fat Sac if you have a small crew. The 750# should fit in your locker and get mostly full. I'm going to try adding a front sac next year.

In addition to the 750 you might also consider a 400# for the side and/or the front of the boat.

Bring out a 3-4 people that weigh 200lbs (not sure in kilos) and move them around on the boat to see what the best config is...

Clean garbage cans full of water also make a good way of figuring out what kind of ballast you need. I learned that from this site!
