Looking to crew

hi,

is anyone looking for crew in southern CA?

I'm from the UK, RYA trained, now living in Los Angeles and looking to get back into the scene.

Most time spent on 75ft + Gaff Schooners, and tall ships.

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Easy,

What scene are you looking to get back into? the woodies, the too nice to race, the fast, the bigs or anything?

well I spent most of my time in Europe on gaff schooners and tall ships, but did a decent amount of delivery gigs on anything from multi million $ motor or sail boats to 35' single masters.

I'm just looking into what scene there is in southern CA for working as a pick up crew member, and possibly getting back into skippering etc..

thanks

Well, I've been thrown out of just about all the west coast yacht clubs ot one time or another, sometime twice in one night but, try the Wood Hull Yacht Club or the Cabrillo Yacht Club for starters or throw a case of greenies over your sholder and start pounding the docks. Oh, and bring your own sand paper, that helps a bunch.
