And don't trim tabs produce lift at the rear?

They can create either lift or drag. Trimmed down, it may lift the stern a little, but will force the bow down. For surfing, many peeps are over weighting there center ballast and adding bow bags. This make for a longer wave. The use of left and right trim tabs will be interesting. I think it should work well. The trim tabs if trimmed correctly should just be a natural extension of the hull, and not hamper performance. What would be cool, is when your boarding and your boat is over weighted to one side, you could just trim either the port or stbd tab and clean up the wake. I would really like to hear how the port and stbd tabs work while surfing. That could be really cool.

Looks wise, I would still take the Mastercraft, Nautique, and Tige over that Sanger.

The above pic is probably the best looking Bu I have ever seen!
