I have a 08 vRide. I was looking at booms (mainly barefoot international). Does anybody have any recommendations for booms on a vdrive with the retractable ski pylon like on the vRide?

Do they work as well as the midship pylon booms do on direct drives. They are pricey and I don't want to end up with something that is not what I expected...

I use a BI v-drive boom with one extension on my '06 V-Ride with Illusion tower. I believe BI is the only boom available for v-drives. I previously had a non-BI boom for my direct drive and the BI clamp takes some getting used to especially with the retractable pylon, but I've been happy with the setup.

Yeah I wondered how difficult it would be with the retractable pylon.
