Just bought a Polisher!

If anybody is looking for good affordable random orbital polisher I found one that does a great job.

I've had trouble keeping our Black boat looking new until now. Last week I purchased a Griot's Garage Polisher $129.00 for the polisher and about $50 for pads, polish, sealants etc.

Our boat has always had this haze and has never had that mirror shine until I spent a 1/2 day using 2 of their products and some wax that I had from before. (Polish 2, Polish 3, Meguires Premium Marine Wax) Now our boat looks brand new and it finally doesn't bug me to look at it. All of the swirl marks have been taken out. I also had to wetsand a couple spots from fender rash and the polisher came in handy for getting the shine back.

I have no connection to this company but highly recommend their polisher and products. Made my life a lot easier.

Now on to the wife's car...

Nice find!!!

Wool pads are the secret to get a good polish on gel coat, foam doesn't cut good enough like foam pads too (foam is more for paint) if you use a orbital buffer be careful not to run it over 1,000 RPM's, if you lean into it too much you can chew thru the gel coat leaving a dis-colored spot.

Our detailer is a big fan of 3M's detail products.

Winter is here, time for polishing out the summers dock dings!
