Buy new impeller?

Recommended Posts

another option... skidim.com about $25 or $30

your dealer will probably have them for about the same price.

I made the mistake of buying one from my dealer, when I had my boat in for the 20 hr. service, in anticipation of winterizing the

following Fall. They charged me close to $50.

Ever since, I've bought from either skidim or overton's for just about $30.

From what I have seen and heard they are worth the extra cost. I know many of the crew are running them right now and with in the next few yrs we will have a full understanding of just how they do hold up first hand. To date I have not heard of any one having a problem with the impellers being used in Bu's.

if so which one os needed for the 07 383?

For your Indmar 383, you will need a Johnson 09-812B. It's a real common impeller with our Malibu/Indmar Engines but outside Malibu/Indmar it is a very rare find, so if you vacation with your boat far away from any source make sure to carry a spare. We have them available on our parts site if you don't have any luck finding them locally. http://www.bakesonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=276
