Surfboard Falling Apart

For Christmas this past year I got a Liquid Force Skim Skate surfboard from Active Water Sports. It hasn't been used more then 10-15 times and I ALWAYS take good care of it. For some reason the foam gripping on it has started to peel off and it has shrunk around the edges at least a 1/2 inch. I would try to fix it, but when I did fix a problem like this on our Jet Skis it started to peel off again only weeks later. I am considering trying to get it replaced either at the shop we bought it from or through LF's warrenty. I am just wondering what everyone else on here would do?

I just called AWS and I will be getting an 06 board in October, and until then I will just have to make due with the board falling apart. LF is all out of the 05 version and size of my board and they won't be coming out with the 06's until October.

Same thing happened to mine. Get some contact cement and a disposable 2" paint brush. Fixed it in much less time than it will take you to drive to Active.

Why fix it when you can trade it for a new 06 worth the drive to me
