Winterizing the ballast tanks

I am storing my boat in a cold area and I need advise as to how to winterize the ballast tanks on my 04 23ft lsv. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If I were you I would go to any RV store and purchase RV antifreeze. It is non-toxic environmentally friendly and won't ruin anything, including your bag. It is also very cheap and good down to about -50 celsius(no idea what that is in farhenheit, but it is cold) In the spring you can just pump or drain it out of the bag and you will be ready. You should only need a couple of litres depending on how large your bag is. Hope this helps.

I've been using a shop vac to suck everything out. Typically I'll find another gallon or so in there after I've drained everything.

I ended up just pulling the bag out pretty simple to do and made sure that there were no water in the pumps
