Adding ballast to rider presets?

I posted this elsewhere but thought I start it over here where it belongs.

If you were to plumb in extra ballast on an '08 or '09, are you able to somehow tie it into the rider presets? Or would it have to be a separate manual switch?

It depends on how you setup the system. But if your additional ballast is just an overflow for the stock tank (most common and easiest), you can't tie it into presets because those use the floats in the ballast tanks to know when to turn off.

But you can use the manual fill and drain switches on the dash to continue filling the additional ballast once the preset has turned off the pump.
