Fold your tower for winterization

I was wondering how many people fold there tower before getting the boat shrink wrapped. I had a tower that busted last year cause water got in it and it expanded. Is this anything to worry about with the illusion tower.

I'm curious, what kind of tower did you break?

Do you know how water got in it?

I assume it wasn't folded for the winter?

I wonder if it matters.

i leave the tower up and shrink wrap everything. last years bu had a titan II this year illusion tower.

I'm curious how or why folding the tower (or not) would cause it to fill up with water. Seems like a design issue from the very beginning.

Tower will be folded and carefully supported. Otherwise it will not fit in the garage.

I wonder as well about collecting water in it and having a freezing issue.

That is one perk of the Xtreme Tower. It will fit full upright in the garage so not an issue.

It was an aftermarket tower designed by tsunami on a bayliner and water got inside the tower and went all the way to the bottom and busted the welds right off the part that connected to the helm joint. That is the reason for asking but it seems that I shouldn't have any issue with the illusion tower.
