Broken sensor

While I was changing my oil filter I snapped off what I believe to be some sort of sensor. It was right above the oil filter and has three wires coming out of it. Does anyone know what this sensor does? Is it important? How do I go about replacing? Hammerhead engine.

Probably the knock sensor, is it in the position of one of the engine block drain plugs? Could you use a wrench to unscrew it? I don't know how expensive they are to replace.

Not the knock sensor.

It is one of the oil pressure sending switches, probably the smaller one.

You will need a new nipple to put into the block, skidim shoudl have these parts.
