Pre wax polish

the boat is a 2007 and is very clean, stored indoors. I have the collinite fiberglass cleaner and the marine wax to use after the cleaner. I really want it to look nice, should I be using a polish? If so, when, after the cleaner or before? I know the wax is the final stage, but I don't know if the cleaner is a polish or not, or if a specific polish would really help. all advice is welcomed.

thanks

Polish is used during the paint correction process to remove scratches and blemishes. It should be used only a clean surface (you can use a "cleaner" but it's just a waste of money) so that surface contaminants don't do even more damage to the finish.

Once you've done paint correction you can use a quality wax to seal and protect the finish and surface.
