Oil Leak from Manifold

I was checking the fluid levels and noticed a clean oil film located where the steel manifold connects to the rubber piece. What could this problem be? Where could this engine oil(I think it is) be coming from? I have the 260 hp merc. The engine oil level is fine and performs great. Any input would be greatly appreciated on this matter. Also, is there corrosion anodes in this boat?

Probably some spillage from the dipstick or the last oil fillup

No anodes on the boat, but if you run saltwater you will need to add some.

Is it coming out the manifold or can you see it coming out the valve cover?

Are you talking about the intake or exhaust manifold? If its cleaner then the oil on the dip stick then it could have come from the last oil change.
