Skier steering parts needed

Recommended Posts

I just pulled out my seized steering cable and broke the support/guide tube when I tried to remove it from the steering cable sheath. This part is the tube that bolts onto a bracket behind the driveshaft and locates the cable with respect to the rudder.

I have no idea where to get this part.

Already checked with skidim and they had something that looked similar but wouldnt work with my bracket.

TIA

Good luck. You'll probably end up having to fabricate something. Find a good machine shop.

When my rudder housing broke, the part was no longer available anywhere. I found a close part and had a machine shop rework it to match my old housing.

Try Marine Hardware in Redmond, WA. 425-883-0651 i think. it's hard to read.
