At the risk of going off topic, I would also be interested in knowing how much the SSP helps the wake/spray issues (while barefooting) that were initially reported with the 07's.

I ski'd an '04 RLXi with the SSP and it sucked. The guy I was out with barefoots 100% of the time, so it was set up and tweaked for barefooting. I went OTF on my first turn and I never go OTF. (Ok, almost never) The plate does exactly what it's supposed to do, making the table harder and flatter. But that's not what you want for slalom.
