I have an 06 V-Ride and the steering rack at the wheel has a rattle when truning the wheel tight in either direction and the boat is under a load. Anyone had any issues or tried to solve the problem. Thought about pulling apart the rack and installing a high temp thick greese to help dampen the gear clearance.

I had the same kind of rattle in my 2004 LSV. I replaced the helm, but that made no difference. It was the tilt steering mechanism making the noise. The boat was rattle free after replacing that. All work was done under warranty.

Thanks, It is still under warrenty so I will have them adress it again. They said it was normal but is getting worse.
