2008 LSV No Go

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

So we're out on the lake with are new 08 23LSV. Next morning we go to start it up and no problem except after about 10 secs the engine shuts down. Oh No....... Cry.gif

The darn thing wouldn't start all day after that. It turns over and once in a while we would get a "Poof" and then nothing. Dontknow.gif

Code we got on the ECM Mod is:

Fault 1

SPN 66013 CM 0

CURRENT OPEN OR

BELOW NORMAL RNG

FMI5 OC1

Oh yeah, that helps.

Any ideas? It's going to the dealer this week but I thought maybe someone else had this issue.

Thanks,

Steve.

I had a similar experience, except for the codes, so this may not help. Make sure the fuel pump is working. Open the motor box/rear seat so there isn't anything muffling the sound. get within ear shot of the gas tanke and have someone turn the key to the on (not start) position. You should hear a short 3 second whining noise while the pump pressurizes.

No pressure, no go.

An unfortunately, annoyance, but ultimately something easy to fix (for the dealer).

Could also be related to the problem we had a few weeks ago that turned out to be a bad sensor. Apparently they're having issues with these. Fortunately it was replaced under warranty but did require the hassle of going to the dealer.
