Wedge down vibration

Recommended Posts

Crew,

Should there be a lot of vibration when I have the wedge down, especially when turning?

Thanks,

Bondo

Handling can be quite a bit different w/ wedge down vs. wedge up. The "vibration" you are feeling is probably just the prop sending wash past the wedge when it's down. However, if it's a bad vibration, youmay want to check your wedge out a little closer and make sure that nothing is cracked or bent

you may want to double check and make sure your prop is not loose.

Look at the bottom of the wedge and make sure that one of your bolts did not break. One of mine broke this year. I had to drill and use an easy out to remove the bolt. While I had it apart I replaced all 4 of them.
