Power Wedge Problem Fixed

Recommended Posts

UberXY

My Power Wedge would blow the circuit breaker when retracting from the first day I had the boat (07 LSV 21), and I stopped using the wedge . Last week I had the boat at the dealer getting some speakers and lights installed and had them take a look at the wedge. Turns out the factory had installed the wrong circuit breaker - too small. Dealer R&R'd it and now it works fine.

Don't you wish all boat problems were this easy to fix? Yahoo.gif

I've been having the same problem with my power wedge - since day one as well. My circuit breaker is 20 amp. and was assuming it was too small. Noticed lately when I push the power wedge deploy button and/or the up button the heat goes on. First time I thought I hit the button by mistake but noticed it kept happening and finally realized what was happening. Not sure if this is causing the circuit to blow. Boat is going in for 20 hour service this week and hopefully they can figure this out.
