Bilge Pump questions

Recommended Posts

Ok I have a 04 Wakesetter LSV, and I'm not sure if the bilge pump works or not. I haven't had enough water in her to have it kick in automatically, but the other day I tried the switch on the dash, and it lights up but I can't hear a pump kick in. (engine was off) So I am wondering if the darn thing works or not. Also where is it located?

It can b e very quiet.

I would recommend doing that again with the engine cover open and then listen.

I actually had the same issue with mine...it took 10 minutes to check on it. If you look in front of the ski pylon...in my sunsetter I had to take 4 screws out, take the pump out...cleaned it up a bit and it kicked on. You should be able to hear it if the motor is off.
