ballast tanks

Not quite sure how that would happen because your ballast tanks are hard plastic and don't expand or contract when they are filled. Are you saying that your entire floor raises up 3 to 6 inches? The whole floor of the boat, or just in your trunks and in the bow? Either way, I'm not sure how it would be possible given that the tanks are hard plastic.

Yes, just on top of the ballast in the rear where the floor meets the side of the boat , in the front the seats raise up.

As far as the bow goes yes this will happen, the cushions are just sitting on the tank and little bit of support around the edge of the bow. I have been told many times that when I fill the bow ballast that the seats moves up a little and then after a few minutes it settles back down from the weight of the passengers. It's normal, as far as the back tanks go, I don't know, the floor is screwed down on the stringer next to the motor but is just resting on the tank and the hull of the boat on the exterior side of the tank. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

our '06 did this when we first got it, I can't say I've paid any attention to it so it very well may do it now. I don't know about 6" but it did a good 1" or 2" at times. I hold it down with 750lb fly high sacks now, just to be sure it doesn't move.
