stern llight question

one of the guys on the boat fell in and grabbed the stern light pole on the way out. now the part where the 2 poles are fell, Do i need a new stern light base ? i would like to order the part cause the person is willing to pay for the damage.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking would happen on my boat when I saw SacRiverRat's tower light..... and then promptly copied it.

My factory stern light is now reserved for backup use only.

It's a full moon tonight. Theres a better than good chance we will be out on the boat tonite, tomorrow night & Sunday night. And there is an even better chance than that that someone will be dumb or drunk enough to grab that stern light as they fall in.

ya that is what exactly happened here and that is exactly what I am going to have to make. I have a battery operated stern light that I am going to modify so this will never happen again. What a pain in the A$$

luickily they had the same stern light base at west marine around here got it and installed it everything is back to normal Clap.gif
