Just got my Bemman boom setup and the rubber piece that is to protect the boat on the gunnel must be moved. Any advice on how to move this, it's stuck on pretty good. thanks

I had to move the gunnel pad on my bi boom. I used a rubber mallet and ky jelly. I held the boom vertical and applied Biggrin.gif the jelly on both sides and taped it downward with the mallet. Plus the ky is water soluble so you won't leave a Yahoo.gif mess

If that doesn't work, try a big 'ole pipe wrench. I know that's what I have to use sometimes to get the rubber down where it'll do some good. Biggrin.gif

lift the corner of the rubber and blow into it. This will relieve the pressure. Seriously!. Work on my BI boom

Use a straw it will be easier. You can also fill it with dish soap then slide your fingers down it to push it down the straw and underneath the rubber. This how we remove handlebar grips off w/o destroying them.
