Ballast for a Sunsetter VLX

Anyone have advice for a rookie on the best wake recipe for a 95 Sunsetter VLX? I use a 350 sac on either side depending on who's surfing. This weekend I filled another 350 sac and put it in the floor and moved it to the surf side. This changed the wake for the worse (no lip at all). If I moved the sac to the middle of the boat the wave was a little better. Doesn't sound like much weight, but I can produce a decent rideable wave with only one sac. What would make the wake longer? Anyone with the same boat got any advice?

You need more weight to have a really good wake. I have a '96 Sunsetter VLX, and our surfing set up is 400 in the bow, 400 in the ski locker, 400 in the floor on the surf side and 750 in the rear locker. This along with the wedge makes a great wake.
