Okay...

I herd that the owner of Centurion is also the owner of Malibu... Is this true?

If memory serves me correctly, Centurion is owned by Fineline Industries and Malibu is owned by Black Canyon Capital. The two Merced Factories are just across an airport runway from each other so I could see the confusion.

Rick Lee is the owner of Fineline Industries, maker of Ski Centurion, and private label mfg for hire. They made Tige for the first 4-5 years of it's life, when it was an old Centurion hull with new decals, courtesy of Charlie Pigeon. Unless things have changed most of Rick's money goes into his car racing addiction, I doubt he has much left over for investing in other boat companies.

Not that I wouldn't mind being Rick.....building boats and racing cars.....

Pretty sure they Assembled boats for Gekko as well. However now it seems that Gekko is part of Challenger Powerboats. That was news to me.
