03 Centurion V-Drive

I'm trying to help a buddy get his 2003 Centurion v-drive "surfable". We threw a 750 in the locker, a 750 midship and the factory mid sack and it is surfable, but just barely. Lots of spray off the back trim tab looking gizmo and a fair amount of spray off the swim platform. The sweet spot is not very sweet and its really short.

His hull has a weird shape and I think he is SOL for getting any better of a wake. Dontknow.gif

The only thing we haven't tried is throwing a 750 in the bow.

Does anyone have any suggestions (other than buying a new boat)?

Thanks,

Charlie

More bow weight might clean up the washout you're getting from the handi-tab and the platform...

We will try that. He was considering removing that handi-tab, but I talked him out of it until we mess with it a little more. He just bought the boat and is learning a lot.

Thanks,

Charlie
