Interesting power wedge issue

Alright, we have an 07 vtx with about 50 hours on it, we bought it used at the start of the season. There seems to be an issue where to power wedge will move around on it's own, going down and up. There have also been occasions where we have been cruising at around 30 mph and the boat would start beeping, and "Power wedge moving up, keep clear" would come up on the LCD. I didn't touch the button.

Has anyone else had this issue?

The boat lives on a lift in the lake, and taking it to the dealer is a serious pain, so any insights would be helpful.

I have an 07 VLX and notice sometimes when I turn on the ignitions that the screen starts to flash power wedge moving up. It stops after a couple flashes and I just ignore it. I haven't ask anybody, til hearing about your situation. any feedback appreciated.

Talked to the dealer, they say we can tow it in anytime and they'll fix it, apparently they have the parts. Still looking for any advice.
