Just thought I would share a pic of my first successful one foot (without shoe skis). This was taken this past weekend. It was so good to be out on the water again enjoying some footing. I know my form is not textbook but I hope to improve with practice.

Nice job Thumbup.gif

If you bring your shoulders forward you will get the spray out of your face. It looks like you are leaning back (safe mode).

Thanks to all. I agree that my form needs some practice.

I will have to ask my wife about coming to Canada to drive for you bobofthenorth, she was driving the boat when BillFooter took that pic.

Nice job! Clap.gif Remember not to neglect your reverse... If you want to eliminate the spray, relax your arms, shoulders rolled back, cheast out (be proud) and keep that ankle in a vertical line with your knee.

Nice work. Where do you usually foot? I am in Cape 2-3 times a month for business. We usually head south to Bull Shoals or Norfork. Nothing bettter than being able to foot for miles without turning around.

Thanks again for all of the help, BillFooter. It always helps to have an experienced footer in the boat when I am footing to help correct my faults.

wedge88: we mainly foot at Lake Wappapello on the St. Francis river.
