Is there a noticable difference in the two hulls in regards mainly to wakeboarding?

I can tell you there is a huge differenece from a slalom standpoint. I have a diamond and demo'd a wake. I hated the mini ramp the wake hull created on my ski. I would suggest the wake hull if you want to board, you can see it in the shape of the wake. It is a pretty big difference.

PM Willy. He had the Cut Diamond VTX in 07 and now has teh Wake VTX in 08.

I purchased the Cut Diamond hull because I wanted the best ski and barefooting hull. If you purchase the Wake hull and want to ski, I would suggest adding about 1/2 ballast in the optional bow tank or putting a heavy person up front. That seems to help settle the wakes some at slalom speeds.

Demo them both as it's the only way you will know what is right for you. Also, do a search, this has been discussed a bunch.

Um, are you going to ski much? If it's just for wakebaording then the choice is obvious
