MLS will not drain

Recommended Posts

My bow fat sack will not drain. I have checked the circuit breaker and all is ok. It appears I am getting power to the pump. Any ideas short of replacing the pump?

If there is power to the pump, can you hear it trying? There is a chance that something is jammed in the impeller and you might be able to just pop the motor mechanism out and spin the impeller by hand, if you can't spin it...it has trash up there.

VERY common to suck up some trash that might get stuck. If the impeller will spin free, your getting power to the pump and she still wont go...time to replace it. Also, not an uncommon thing given the typical high use of the pumps relative to the average say, BILGE pump.

Thanks! I do hear the pump when I hit the fill switch, but I don't hear anything on drain. I'll check it out.

I had the same issue. Your pump is bad. You need a new one
