Oil Leak

Recommended Posts

I have noticed engine oil slowly dripping from around the sump plug area of my 2003 VLX, 335 Monsoon. I am not convinced its the sump plug as the front of the sump is oily. I am finding it very difficult to locate the leak due to the confined space and the bottom of the sump is very close to the bottom of of the boat. How can I accurately diagnose and fix the problem? Will I need to pull the engine out? Will it be costly?

Cheers, Dean (Australia)

Try using a small mirror
