1989 EURO F3, ballast for surfing and wakeboarding

I have been running two fat buddies but even with a full load of people I was not able to let go of the rope with a 4 9 broadcast. I just ripped a fat whole in one of the sacks and I was thinking that I would invest in something a little more comfortable and heavy. The boat has hardly any seating as it is so I thought it would be nice if I had a lounger in the rear. However, I dont want to put so much in the rear that I am pointing straight up and I dont want to unneccesarily rist a swamping accident. Is there an even mix out there for boats in my erra to add seating and increase front to rear ballance. The two fat buddies were nice against the motor but not heavy enough and I would like to consider something like the fly high fat seat but dont want to risk the rear weight. Any ideas?

I've had a lot of weight in mine. Ballast bags and coolers. I don't know how much it weighed, but we had 5 people, 2 coolers tied to the swim platform, 2 lounge seat bags (on the side and in back), and 2 coolers(in the bow). It was easy to take on water for an unexperienced driver. We had to stop very slowly. We shifted people around to optimize the wake. It is a lot of fun.

We've been using a 5'6" landlock. I can go ropeless with just 2 people and no ballast. My 200 lb. friend has a problem though. He needs ballast.

Face it. We don't have good surf boats. We need to get a v drive or something with a higher freeboard.

Footing and slaloming are my favorites, so no change for me unless it's a second boat. hahaha.

How about the Launch Pad 540lb Recliner Fat Sac. Two of those up both sides would provide good ballance and seating. Does anyone know if I can use the nozzle that came with my skylon pump on the launch pad products?

I've got a 91 euro, and I would be careful trying to surf behind the boat. Its safe to do it with the prop, but you just need to be careful when driving so you dont turn the boat into an anchor. My boat sits pretty low in the water already, which I usually have 5 people in the boat with coolers and a bunch of other crap. There really isnt much room to put ballast in there if you have anyone in the boat.

I put 2 650lbs sacs in the back corner and a 700lbs sac on top to that, the rub rail is almost in the water and It will throw a pretty good surf wake! ( I ride a 4 9' broadcast)
