Ok for those that have successfully got the servo motor power cable up through the bilge of the boat and up into the center column so you can plug it in to the master module....how the heck did you do it?????

Thanks

used a snake. i went right along the same cable route as all the other cables (i.e. starboard side of the engine compartment). start small with the snake and a fishing line, or something similar. then keep pulling bigger items through. a trick that I learned from rigging fish boats is that once you snake something through (i.e. one cable), leave a string or line attached to that cable, so you always have a "snake" there, in case you want to add something else some day.

It was a bit of a chore to get the snake through to where it was visible. It helped that I had also removed the black plastic panel at the front of the engine compartment and the FIBECs stringer vent on the drivers side of the engine compartment. Got the snake to where I could see it through the vent & then worked it back to the hole where the cables come through the stringer behind the black plastic panel.

Different boats but I have successfully used a 25 ft heavy duty tape measure as a make shift snake to pull my servo cable for Perfect Pass. The tape is stiff enough to push through then attach the cable and pull it back through. Worked great and saved having to buy or borrow a snake/fish tape.
