i added streetglow lights to the boat, not just for fun but also to have brighter lighting with cabin lights........where is the best place under the steering wheel to tap power and ignition and ground???

i see the grounding block, not a problem, where the power runs into my fuse panel is hidden and i'm not sure the "safest" way to tap. What color is the ignition wire??Looking at my stereo it looked like black for ground, red and white for power, blue and white for ignition. For the igntion I wthink this would be an ok place to tap in, is that correct???? Also, there is a wire for courtesy lights, so i want it wired to come on with the interior factory leds, can i tap at the back of the togle switch for the interior lights????? i am very confused on malibu switches and wish there was a place for wiring diagrams.. after getting behind the dash of the boat for the 1st time i am not impressed with the quality of work....ton of butt-connectors "about to come apart") and just a mess in general. anyone know where to find some wiring diagrams """"

ground to the grounding block

power from interior switch on dash

or from open fuse on fuse panel

seat heater, heater 2 , etc.

on switch the upper connections is what you are looking for ( courtesy )

p.s. behind my dash it's very neat and tidy

can also tap into any existing court light because of the low amp draw if you prefer
