Hurth trans. filter?

Has anyone been able to clean their transmission filter without jacking up the tranny? 2002 Mailbu Response with a Monsoon.

I know this was discussed long ago, possibly on another forum. Bottom line was nobody cleans it! Consensus was if you change the fluid as often as they call for you shouldn't have a problem. I do remember that on person said they were able to do it in place though but I'm not sure if anyone other Houdini can actually do it. I'd love to here from someone at Indmar or Malibu on this.

I did it the first 4 seasons I had my Bu. It is not to hard in the Rlxi. It takes 2 people to get everything back together though, one on each side of the trans. All 4 times my screen was spotless by the way. Now I plan a 5 year interval.

I have never cleaned it on my old Malibu,,,, New Malibu is have what I think is transmission trouble. I suspect that I have low pressure off a idle.
