zirc fittings

After reading one of the posts below, and I didnt want to steal his post, I was wondering whether my boat has zirc fittings or if I need to grease anything. I am about to drop it in the water this week and have changed the impeller, trans fluid, oil, fuel filter, waxed it, cleaned the teak, put a new stereo system in it and all in all cleaned the hell out of it. But am I missing anything? is there anything to do with the driveshaft that needs maintenance? What else is there?

Your rudder housing inside the boat has 2 greese zerks, I would also coat the arm of the steeering cable with some greese to keep things moving nicely.

Also a little greese on both ends of your throttle and shift cables keeps everything moving freely.

And don't forget about your trailer, needs to have brake fluid check, tires pumped up, and grease the bearings (unless you have oil bath)

How do you access the rudder housing?

You know, I thought you had a V-ride at first, which has pretty easy access, on the I-ride pull the back seat out and the floor piece behind the motor box, look down towards the back of the boat and you'll see it.

It honestly may not be worth the battle of getting back there, so don't worry if you can't reach it.
