Smell of gas in center bilge

Recommended Posts

mtaylor

So, checking out the new (for me) VTX, I noticed a fairly strong smell of gas in the center bilge access hole. It doesn't smell anywhere else in the boat, anyone have any ideas as to cause?

I don't really know what to look for, but this doesn't seem right. Feel free to ask for more info, just let me know what to look for.

Dealer just picked it up. (apparently they do housecalls, sweet Thumbup.gif ) Supposedly there were a few 07's with bad seals in the fuel pump, they say it will be fixed and back in our driveway by tomorrow. How's that for service?
