Home made hot tube-

Tracktor

Recommended Posts

When I bought my heater I got a great deal on a three outlet with two euro vents, but needed two hot tubes. Being cheap & not really liking the reach of a standard hot tube I decided to try my own. This will reach clear to the rear seats. There is a PVC tube behind the kick panel to hold it when put away. The white velcro was temporary to see if it would actually work, I've cleaned it up with black since then.---

I like it but have been told that with a tube much longer than the stock tubes you lose the heat and or volume of air by the time it gets all the way through the tube. Do you find this to be true?

Our heater is under the rear seat on the driver side. The heater tube comes out from the back and can reach all the way to the glove box(on a 23' boat) and still blows hard and hot.(well as hot as it gets)
