Water entering the boat from the front vents

I have water entering my boat from the vents under the windshield. The water runs down the windshield (enters through small leaks in the mooring cover at the stiches which go through the abrasion resistance pad on the inside if the cover at the windshield) and enters the front vents. This water collects and then leaks onto the battery cover on the port side and the heater bracket on the drivers side.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas about what to do about it?

If your cover is leaking at the seams, try a seam sealer made for tents.
