Need opinion about Farmer John wetsuit

I am considering getting a Farmer John wetsuit with a zip-up wetsuit jacket. Does this combo hold warmth as well as a full wetsuit?

I wanted the farmer john and jacket because I thought that the one piece is too difficult to put on. Also, I wanted to possibly save money on buying a one piece and then buying a 3/4 for a warmer day.

Therefore, buying and 1 piece and a 3/4 is really the best way to go for warmth? Am I missing the point about warmth over cost?

I've used my farmer john quite a bit. I like the freedom of movement in the arms. Not as binding as my one piece.

The Aquasphere WT50 I bought is thin and very flexible I didn't notice it binding me up at all.

We bought a couple farmers a few years back and like them. They seem to hold the warmth pretty well as long as they fit snug. Half the time, we just wear the jackets for the convenience. - Charlie

I have been looking for a good 2 or 3mm zip up jacket for a while to go over my farmer. The only one I have found is at NRS and it did not fit well. Have you found any other sources? There are plenty of 1mm surfer pull overs out there.
