with out redoing the vinyl super glue works best

also you can get vinyl repair kits

never use them though

I had one from my son that was 3 inch and I super glued it

can still see it if you look hard but not noticable

7 INCHES DEEP! Wow, that must be all of the way through the foam!

Seriously though, if it's a clean cut, it may be repairable. 7 inches is a little on the long side, but if it works for a while, it will save you some money. Try calling the high end car dealers in your area (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc.) to get the name of the company they use for upholstery repairs. They should be able to do a reasonable job on it, and when it's done you'll have a hard time spotting it.

The real fix is to replace the entire skin, which can be ordered from Malibu through your local dealer.
