Welcome!! There are some pretty big differences between the two. What do you do primarily? Ski? Board? How many people do you typically have?

I'm sure you'll love your VTX, but shouldn’t you have looked into the differences between them BEFORE you ordered it??

the comparison is an Expedition vs Explorer. Both great, but VLX is much bigger feel inside, but both are comfy and will handle great. You'll love it either way.

Yes! I did look into the differences, but everything i saw was mainly less seating. we mainly wakeboard and usely have 5 to 6 people, its our 1st wakeboard boat and unfortantly the $$ and storage is why we chose the VTX. I didn"t think there was a big differece, can you share it with me ?

You'll love the VTX. For 5 to 6 people it's ideal, and with the Cut Wake hull, I think it's a more versatile performer than the VLX (in terms of wakeboard wake quality).

It was the VTX that got him! His motorcycle is a VTX, his pokername is VTX, his e-mail is VTX. Once he found out about the malibu VTX, it was all over for him---he had to have one. To the toy companies out there---- stop making things that say VTX!

We just took delivery or a 2008 VTX and are thrilled with it. It drives like a DD. We ordered the diamond hull. I like to ski and the wake very good. Our son is a boarder and the wake is good. It's a great size and has many new features and design aspect the VLX will have at a latter date.

You couldn't make a bad decision between the two. Welcome and we know you'll love you new boat.

Maybe Expedition & Excursion.

Of all those Fords & Malibus listed, only the Explorer has class action lawsuits against it, lawyers all over it, & U-Haul running away from it!

VTX is like a foot shorter & 6" wider. It drives great & has a descent wake for boarding/foiling. We thought about it but it is too wide to fit in either our parking space by the house or the boat slip.

VTX is 18" shorter, but has the same beam at 98". The width of the VTX makes it feel much larger than it really is, although for me coming from a VLX it feels small. From what I've seen out of the VTX, it appears that the difference in length is all in the cabin. The bow feels the same & if there's a difference in length behind the rear seat, it's negligible.

Gotcha. Guess it's 6" narrower than the old VLX..... which would explain why the Vride fit & the VTX didn't. I literally have like 3" on either side when I back it between the house & fence.

I need a shop.
