Warmer Lake Real Estate

Recommended Posts

Curious about warmer water as our family does more and more on the water. Tahoe is our current home lake, but all that snow in the Sierra brings new meaning to "chill'n at the lake". Dry suits only do so much.

Wondering if there are any recommendations from the forum. We are a foiling (Sky Ski) family, so sometimes the depth of a ski lake can be a problem. Southwest....but avoid the Colorado River temps? AZ? TX? Southeast? Looking forward to the day of walking down to the dock and foiling until the sun sets.

Any good realtor sites to check out? Thanks.

Come to SC and enjoy easy living and cheap gas prices (if there is such a thing, but we are one of the cheapest). Lake Murray is my lake of choice.

If you want to stay in CA try Nacimiento. No snow runoff, only rain.

I'm a foiler too. You're officially invited to join me at my lake.

I've always thought Clearlake would be a good final resting spot for me. Problem is they're a bit out there from a commute perspective to the City or Sacramento. I haven't been around the south side of the lake, but I've always got the feeling of Meth-heads & PWT as I drive through the surrounding towns on Hwy 20. But some of the homes, and the lake are great. Folsom is the next best, but I don't know if I've actually seen "lakefront". Just lots of lakeviews. Buy in on Folsom is probably a 1.5 m minimum.
