Guy to the rescue, one last time....

So I ordered a carpet saver from the dealer a week ago. I get a phone call from the dealer saying that they were told that they did not have a template for an '04 VLX. I called Guy and he came up with a part number in about 20 minutes.

FYI the part # for a grey 04 VLX is Malibu #005706

On a side note, I wished him well from all of us. He is moving to the Midwest t be near family next week. I had to ask 2 questions before I hung up.

1. Is "Big Brother" watching "The Crue"?

How do you guys know that this isn't Guy's little undercover opeation to make us think he won't be at 'bu anymore so we'll all stop bothering him?

And, if he really is leaving, we need his replacement's name pronto.

Actually he said the boat he got was a goof up. But he said it is a real beauty. Its a VLX.

So I got my carpet saver today...... and the fit sucks!!! It is too short in the bow, it is also too short at the rear seat, and the hole for the table mount is off. I would have been better off going to an upholstry shop.

Argh!!!

Edit: Apparently there was no carpet saver offered for the 03-04 VLX (current V-ride). I called Mike Sanchez this morning (7-11-05). He's looking into it.
