Help with bimini color.

I bought a 2007 red and white 23 XTI with a black illusion tower and was curious which color bimini to put on it. I think red or black would look best, but can't make up my mind which would look the better.Thanks.

I agree with the above. I wouldn't put solid red on though. Solid black would be fine.

Thanks for the help.I'm going with the solid black. With the black Illusion tower, the black bimini is probably the safest and hopefully best looking. Once I get her home I'll post some pics.

One word of warning on the black bimini's....they radiate a lot of heat! I can't really stand to be under my buddies black bimini on a sunny day at Norris Lake....to freakin' hot....

I have a red and white bu with a red bimini that has a huge white strip down the middle and I think that looks sharp.

Goose, that sounds great, do you have much problem with it getting dirty, fading, etc.? I know part of it is just keeping it clean like the rest of the boat, but fading would worry me a little.

We have never noticed this. In the Texas summer heat (where the OP is) it's premium seating under the bimini.

Unfortunately I can't be there and try on 4 or 5 different looks. I'll try the black this summer and if its too hot I'll look into a change in the offseason. Great points made by all.
