I am looking for pictures to go by. Of front speakers installed in the dash-deck.Or if anyone has pics. of them being installed including cutting out for them . Also any suggestions of what type to use? I am looking to buy a factory glove box to install any pics helpful . I bought this boat new in 2000. I would love to buy a new Response LXI. The only thing holding me back is $$$$. This sight is great a lot of very helpful people. We all just love skiing the coarse and hanging with freinds.Thank you all pkenney3

I added dash speakers and a glove box to my old boat, a 1999 Sportster. I removed the windshield and used a hole saw to cut the openings for the speakers. Make sure the speaker/grill will fit under the slope of the windshield, but is as far forward as possible so the glove box cover will open without hitting the speaker grill.

Hard to see in the picture, but the speaker grills have a silver ring.

Added front speakers to an Echelon. Same process as above, pull the windshield, mark the hole center by taking the outer grill and marking the full circle and drill. There is usually enough tolerance that the speaker can float around a bit to set it exactly where you want it after the hole is drilled. Pretty easy mod and the sound is worth it.
