Has anyone installed something like this and a higher power coil on their bu? I am a hot rod guy and know the benefits of a MSD ignition on a car, but dont know if its worth the money and time on the bu.

I tend to keep tinkering like that to land. If you get stuck on teh side of the road, you call AAA or walk home.

If you get stuck out on the water.......its a bigger pain.

No real need to mess with such a new boat. If you need a little more power, switch props.

The ignition system on a boat is not taxed as hard as on a car. The underhood is much cooler so it is easier on wires, etc.
