Do you Power Wash your boat?

Recommended Posts

Is it safe to pressure wash the inside and outside of the Malibu? What about the carpet to remove any stains?

Obviously you need to be careful around the decals

I just want to get rid of the winter accumulation of spider crap.

ive pressure washed the carpet with good results (on wide spray mode). I've found that nothing cleans the outside of a boat (or car) like a good clean 100% cotton rag and a nice big bucket of soap and water. The pressure washer does not come close.

I use a 3500 PSI pressure washer on my carpet, bilge areas, trailer and wheels, and sometimes on the vinyl too. Don't hold the nozzle very close at all. It really works well, but if you do not have much experience using a PW I would not recommend it.

As has been said, I wouldn't hesitate to use it on the carpet but be very careful. In my opinion, the carpet is the only place that the pressure washer should be used.
